Of In-Game Relationships.

Being that I have at one point played just about every online game the world has to offer ( Aside from a few Korean grinders and useless pieces of garbage such as Dark Age of Camelot ), I have come across at least once, just about every social stigma this piece of culture has to offer.  One of the more annoying, as well as utterly pathetic is the in-game relationships, but furthermore, the in-game marriages.

There is apparently no longer a need to actually go out into the world and meet someone to spend your days with, for $49.99 and a monthly subscription you can find love in all the right… well.. imaginary places.  Worried about getting tired of your significant other?  Worry no more!  Just make another character and your constant thoughts of infidelity are cured!  In-game dating, relationships, marriages, and the good old extension of masturbation, cyber sex, yes our online worlds are the love connection for 14-50 year old lonely men playing female characters everywhere.

Coming from the background that I happen to come from… that was a redundant as all hell statement I know.  I have learned one great thing about the online gaming culture.  In both of the games I have been a developer for, there was a fair amount of female characters in the small community.  But amusingly enough, only 4-5 actual women played the game… funny how that works.  Ah yes, much like 90% of the downtown Atlanta fetish scene; Online Gaming, where the men are men, and most of the women are too.  Knowing this little tidbit of knowledge, I always found it funny when these kids would form online relationships with these “Women”.  Flirting with them, doing quests for them, giving them money, hell even paying for their accounts, never knowing that their lovely little… pixilated dove, was packing some heavy artillery between the legs.

As a good person, someone should have told these people about their little butter-cup with a love for cross dressing… I of course, am not a good person, and preferred sitting back, and watching these men make female characters, manage 4-5 different relationships, milking the other men for all they are worth, delete the character, and start over, transferring all of the items, money, etc they juked out of some 14 year old kid in their mothers basement to their main character, which was of course… a male character.  As hilariously disgusting as all of this sounds right now, it pales in comparison to the cybersex part…

Yes, you heard me right, Male on Male playing a Female character cyber sex… there’s a fetish I'm sure isn’t in the books… yet.  I won’t go very far into this one as the thought of some of the things I have read these dolts saying to each other makes me want to fuck start a baby seal with a jack-hammer, but leave it at this;  Most of these people belong in some type of German shit eating videos they are so foul.

While droning on about this for the next three hours would be entertaining… I am at work, and should probably actually… work.  But let’s put some closing points out here for you.  If you ever play an online game, or currently play an online game, here is a nice list of probable stereotypes that cause this defect of imaginary “love” in our society:

·         Buffalo Bill… that’s all I'm saying.

·         30 and still lives with their parents.

·         Virgin, and will remain that way.

·         Has never spoken to someone of the female gender.

·         Latent homosexuality.

·         Fat, ugly, stupid, or otherwise useless to society.

If you are reading this, and you have been in an in-game relationship, or are currently in one, I'm fairly sure you cover at least one, or all of those points.

…It puts the lotion on its skin…
